Kampung Senang was founded with a holsitic wellness vision for all.

The founders had the mission to create a learning space to care for those in need in community to bring about health and vitality through being in tune with nature and holistic therapies.

Alternative, gentle therapies and nutritional education for Cancer patients was the first step to to establishing wellness work 23 years ago. Now the therapies include a whole array of diagnostics and treatment that brings about mind, body, spirit alignment and awareness necessary for personal transformation.

Children are the seeds for tomorrow,

and the way we nurture them, especially in their early years, significantly influences their values, habits, and future well-being.

 

This pivotal period shapes their trajectory towards health and the compassionate roles they play in the world and for Mother Earth.

 

Two decades ago, Kampung Senang established the Whole Child Nurture Center and the Student-Care service to assist cancer patients in caring for their children and instilling holistic healthy living habits.
 

As of June 5, 2023, Whole Child Nurture Centre has become part of the Tzu Chi Foundation’s Great Love Preschool.

 

Despite this transition, the Student-Care service continues to thrive, maintaining its commitment to intergenerational activities that foster connections with seniors in Kampung Senang’s day activity centre for the elderly.

From its inception, the foundation has been dedicated to providing holistic care and support to the elderly through the Kampung Senang Day Care for the Elderly.  

 

Evolving with the changing landscape, this initiative has transformed into a comprehensive Wellness Programme for Seniors, creating a nurturing environment with an open concept, a cozy ambiance, an inclusive vegetable garden, and therapeutic amenities that contribute to the overall well-being of the elderly.

 

In tandem with this, Kampung Senang extended its community care ethos to address the needs of students. By establishing after-school care service, Student-Care Centre, the foundation endeavors to create a supportive space where children can flourish.

 

This commitment to the community's youth involves instilling healthy living habits and values, ensuring that the seeds of today blossom into responsible and caring individuals for tomorrow.

 

As Kampung Senang Charity and Education Foundation continues to grow, the thread of Community Care remains tightly woven into its fabric, fostering a sense of interconnectedness and empathy that transcends generations and empowers the community as a whole.

Mother Nature is our healer and inspiration. We recognise that going to nature for wholesome  nutrition, medicinal answers and spiritual alignment is what human beings are blessed to have. Yet, ecological stress and degradation has created the risk of a bleak future for our children.

 

So Kampung Senang emphasises education and actions that support the love and conservation of nature.

Our Inclusive Gardens initiative aims at connecting people to the goodness of nature and promoting growing our own edibles
